§ 10-1. Rendition of judgment; custody of prisoner until fines and costs are paid.

  • All judgments and final orders of the judge of the court shall be rendered in open court and entered upon his docket. The judgment, in case of conviction in a criminal action before the court shall be to the effect that the City of Eagle Pass, Texas, recover of the defendant the fine and costs, and that the defendant remain in custody of the then superior officer of the police department until such fine and costs are paid; and that execution issue to collect the same.
