§ 10-16. Collection of court costs authorized by Senate Bill 195.

The municipal court of the city is hereby authorized and directed to collect the court costs authorized by Senate Bill 195, creating the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Fund, including, but not limited to:
(1)

Five dollars ($5.00) court cost upon a conviction under section 166 of article 6701d and article 6701c-3, V.T.C.S.; and

(2)

Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) court cost upon a conviction under article 67011-1, V.T.C.S.

The city shall retain ten (10) percent of the funds collected and all interest earned on the funds as a collection fee upon proper reporting and timely payment to the State of Texas.
