The amount of any such cash bond, fixed and docketed as hereinbefore provided, shall
be deposited by such person so bound thereby, or by his attorney, with the clerk of
the court. The clerk shall issue to the person making the deposit the city's receipt
therefor and shall show on such receipt the amount so deposited, the date of such
deposit, the name of the person so bound, and the date and hour of the required court
appearance.
