§ 10-29. Same—Court appearance bond escrow fund, created; withdrawals therefrom.

The amount of any such cash bond deposited with the clerk of the municipal court shall, in every instance, be deposited forthwith in the court appearance bond escrow fund of the city with the official depository of the city, which fund and deposits are hereby created and authorized. Any and all checks drawn upon, and withdrawals from, such court appearance bond escrow fund (as in instances of refunds and transfers after forfeiture) shall be and are hereby authorized by and over the official signature of the clerk of the court alone. The signature of no other officer or employee of the city shall be necessary, either in countersigning, co-issuing, or validating any act or utterance on behalf of the city respecting such court appearance bond escrow fund or deposits therein.
