§ 12-34. Special permissions.

The regulations of the National Electrical Code may be modified or waived by special permission in specific cases where such modification or waiver is reasonable and does not differ from the intent of this chapter. Such permission shall in all cases be obtained from the electrical inspector and confirmed in writing. A copy of the permission shall be filed in the office of the electrical inspector and additional copies shall be sent to each registered contractor.
