§ 12-58. Registration of maintenance electrician.

  • (a)

    Applicant may be a registered master electrician or may apply for registration as a maintenance electrician.

    (b)

    Each applicant not holding a master electrician license shall be required to answer a reasonable number of questions in writing as provided by the building department to show that he has sufficient knowledge and training to perform maintenance work.

    (c)

    The certificate of a maintenance electrician shall bear the name of the person by whom the holder thereof is regularly employed, and the place of employment, and shall become null and void and re-registration shall be required each time a change is made in employer and place of employment.

    (d)

    A maintenance electrician's license shall entitle the holder thereof to engage himself in the employ of any person holding an electrical building maintenance operator's license under the provisions of this article.
