§ 12-151. Evidence of conformity of equipment, materials.

Latest version.

Conformity of electrical equipment and materials with the current published electrical appliance and utilization equipment list, or the electrical construction materials list, or the hazardous location equipment list, of the Underwriters' Laboratories, Incorporated, or an approved agency, shall be prima facie evidence that such equipment or materials are reasonably safe to persons and property. These lists and pamphlet shall be on file in the electrical inspector's office and become a part of this chapter.
