§ 12-162. Concealed wiring.

  • No so-called "concealed wiring" for which a permit is issued or required shall be lathed over or in any manner concealed from view until it shall have been inspected and approved by the electrical inspector. All electrical wiring shall be complete before the same shall be permitted to be concealed from view; and all electrical provisions and fittings such as cabinets, cut-outs, flush switches, etc., shall be permanently installed prior to final inspection and approval by the electrical inspector; with the exception of lighting fixtures or other fixture, the addition of which requires no additional electrical equipment or alteration.
