§ 12-164. Prohibited wiring.

No person shall install, or be in any manner responsible for the installation of, any of the following prohibited equipment within the territorial limits of the city:
(1)

"BX" or "Knob and Tube" electrical installation;

(2)

Basement light without wall switch;

(3)

Aluminum conductors. Any existing structure which includes this type of material and is in the process of being rehabilitated shall have this material removed and shall conform to existing codes.
