§ 13-3. Same—Posting.

(a)

Notice of the arson reward shall be posted on eight inch by twelve inch (8″ × 12″) placards, mounted in wooden frames and protected by glass. The lettering shall be printed in clear and legible print and shall state:

ARSON REWARD
The City of Eagle Pass, Texas, hereby offers a reward of TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($250.00) for the arrest and conviction of any person or persons found guilty of committing the crime of ARSON within the corporate limits of said City of Eagle Pass, Texas. This reward is a standing offer, and shall be paid out of the contingency fund of the City of Eagle Pass, Texas.

(b)

One (1) placard shall be placed for conspicuous display inside of at least six (6) of the distinct public buildings, within the city, as follows:

Public library;

Waterworks system;

School district tax office;

City hall;

Maverick County Courthouse;

U.S. Post Office;

Water Control and Improvement District No. One.
