§ 15-30. Work permit.

No gas fitter shall install or make any alteration to the installation of gas house piping or appliances in any building within the limits of the city without first obtaining a permit to do such work from the plumbing inspector's office. No permit shall be required for an exposed gas line above the floor not exceeding five (5) feet in length, to connection for one (1) gas stove, providing, however, that such extension must conform to other provisions of this article.
