§ 15-48. Definitions.

  • The following words and phrases shall, as used in this article, have the meanings as herein set out:

    Gas. Liquefied petroleum gas in either a gaseous or liquid state.

    Gasoline. Any and all forms of volatile, inflammable liquid hydrocarbon mixtures, refined, hydrogenated, recovered, or distilled, and used or designed for or capable of being used, as motor fuel or internal combustion fuel, in common usage or acceptance thereof of such term.

    Liquefied petroleum gas. Any material which is composed predominantly of any of the following hydrocarbons or any mixtures thereof, such as: propane, propylene, butane (normal butane or isobutane) and butylenes.
