§ 16-88. Creation of environmental advisory committee.
(a)
There is hereby created an environmental advisory committee consisting of five (5) members appointed for two (2) year term by the city council. Any member of the committee may be removed by the city council at any time and for any reason. To the extent feasible, the members of this committee will be two (2) persons operating a business in the City of Eagle Pass, two (2) members of the city council, and one (1) member of the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce.
(b)
This committee shall monitor the effects of this section, troubleshoot any issues with the application or enforcement of this section, and report to the city council on its activities from time to time. Unless extended by resolution of the city council, the environmental advisory committee will cease to exist at the close of business on December 31, 2018.
