§ 17-30. Cooperation with secretary of housing and urban development.

The equal opportunity officer and the personnel of the City of Eagle Pass are encouraged to cooperate with the secretary of housing and urban development pursuant to the provisions of Title VIII-Fair Housing Act of 1968, Public Law 90-284, and may render such service to the secretary as they shall deem appropriate to further the policies of this article and may accept remuneration, payable to the city general fund, from the secretary for services rendered to assist with the carrying out of the provisions of the above cited federal law.
