§ 19.5-146. Purpose.

In order to facilitate the orderly development of oil and gas production in the city and to avoid confiscation of property, owners of oil and gas interests permitted to be unitized in article II shall be given the opportunity to participate in the production of oil and gas from the drilling block in which their property is located subject to the rules provided in this article and article II of this chapter.
