§ 19-20. Open pit mining prohibited.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, or any other entity, to conduct or cause to be conducted any open pit mining for sand, gravel, clay, or any other minerals within the city limits, or within any subdivision or within two hundred fifty (250) feet from the outer limits of said subdivision approved by the city, lying within its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
