Article II. INDOOR PLUMBING FIXTURES AND INSULATION OF EXPOSED HOT WATER PIPING |
§ 21-43. Definitions.
The following definitions are applicable to this article:
Person means an individual, public or private corporation, organization, government or governmental agency, political subdivision, business trust, partnership, association, or other legal entity.
New construction means any construction of a previously nonexistent structure requiring a discretionary or ministerial permit issued after the effective date of the ordinance from which this article was derived. This definition also includes renovation and additions to existing structures after the effective date such that issuance of a municipal building permit is required.
Renovation means any building construction or remodeling involving plumbing fixtures, or replacement of plumbing fixtures, which, shall include toilet, shower, tub, and/or faucet fixtures, either lavatory, sink, or other.
Ultra-low-flow water closets means any toilet, either gravity, flushometer, or pressurized flush types, which uses a maximum average of 1.6 gallons per flush when tested over the range of 20-80 psi.
