§ 21-48. Exposed hot water piping.

All exposed hot water piping shall be thermally insulated in every new building, or addition or renovation of an existing building for which a building permit has been issued after the effective date of the ordinance from which this article is derived, and when a replacement hot water heater or hot water piping is required in any building.
