§ 22-36. Sidewalk defined.
Sidewalk shall mean that portion of any street or roadway, lying within the corporate limits of the city, which portion is intended for use of or by pedestrians and lies between the curblines of the street (or the lateral lines of a roadway without curb) and the adjacent property lines. The width of sidewalks shall be:
Eight (8) feet of either side of any street or roadway which is sixty (60) feet wide.
Seven (7) feet of either side of any street or roadway which is less than sixty (60) feet wide.
