§ 22-77. Improvement requirements and inspection.

  • (a)

    All minimum state requirements for size, material, construction standards, conditions and accessories for the improvements to be used by a holder hereunder shall be complied with and evidence hereof furnished to the city manager prior to the issuance of any permits authorized by this article.

    (b)

    The city manager shall inspect each such improvement before it is placed in service, and at other times when determined to be necessary, for compliance with this article and regulations of the city.

    (c)

    A holder shall make the improvements available for inspection when requested by the city manager.

    (d)

    If a holder fails to make the improvements available for inspection or if the city manager determines that certain improvements are not in compliance with this article or regulations of the city, the city manager may order the improvements removed from service until they are made available for inspection and brought into compliance, all at the cost of the permit holder.

    (e)

    If the city manager determines that inspection of the condition of the improvements by a technician is necessary, the holder shall pay the cost of the inspection.
