§ 22-92. Other city-owned buildings, equipment and facilities.

  • The city council hereby approves and adopts the following user fees and rental charges for other city-owned buildings, equipment and facilities, to be collected by the city at the rate set out herein:

    (1)

    Aquatic center:

    a.

    Swimming lessons fee ..... $ 75.00

    b.

    Regular entrance fees:

    Adults (includes water slide) ..... 2.00

    Children (for those who do not meet 54" height) ..... 1.50

    c.

    Seasonal pass:

    Family of three (3) or more ..... 200.00

    Adults ..... 130.00

    Children ..... 60.00

    d.

    Private parties rental, per hour (three (3) hours maximum) (8:00 p.m.—11:00 p.m.) ..... 100.00

    e.

    For private parties, renters must hire one (1) lifeguard for every thirty five (35) patrons, and one (1) lifeguard for the water slide if patrons will be using it. Fee will be per lifeguard per hour ..... 15.00

    Fields and courts:

    a.

    User fees:

    Tournaments:

    Non-profit ..... 100.00

    For profit ..... 250.00

    League sponsored by other:

    Light usage, per hour:

    Concession stand, tournaments and leagues, per day ..... 25.00

    e.

    These fees are to be assessed for the duration of each tournament or league, or as hereinabove provided. Deposit will not be reimbursed in case of damages or missing property, whichever applies.

    Other office space/buildings user fees:

    City Hall council chambers, three (3) hours maximum ..... 28.00

    City Hall conference rooms, three (3) hours maximum ..... 28.00

    There shall be no fee for the use of the above-mentioned office space/buildings by nonprofit organizations or agencies.

    All non-profit organizations must show a copy of their 501C3 Form.

    Recreational participation fees:

    a.

    Sport leagues participation, per participant ..... $40.00

    b.

    Cheer/dance competition fee, per participant ..... 40.00

    c.

    Cheer/dance competition crossover fee, per participant ..... 20.00

    d.

    Summer youth program, per participant, per week ..... 30.00

    e.

    Other recreational events, per participant/adults ..... 15.00

    Children (12& under) ..... 5.00

    Fees collected may be refundable if formally requested prior to the start date of the league and/or event. All such refunds may not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the fee paid. Fees are not refundable on or after the start date of the league and/or event.

    Recreational event attendance fees:

    a.

    Entry fee for local cheer and dance competition:

    Adults ..... $15.00

    Children (12 & under) ..... 5.00

    (8)

    Fees collected under (6) and (7) of this section shall be restricted for expenses related to recreational leagues and events, including personnel, supplies, contracted services and other costs directly related to the recreational leagues and events.

    (9)

    Miniature golf:

    a.

    User fees:

    Tuesday and Wednesday one dollar ($1.00) (ninety-two cents ($0.92) plus sales tax) for each round of eighteen (18) holes.

    Thursday—Sunday three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) (three dollars and twenty-three cents ($3.23) plus sales tax) for each round of eighteen (18) holes

    b.

    The city manager may authorize exclusive use for the miniature golf course outside of normal operating hours at a rate of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per hour plus one dollar ($1.00) per patron if deemed to be in the city's best interest.
