§ 24-6. Same—Content of report.

The report for which provision is made in the foregoing section, in each case shall be under oath, in writing, and shall show:
(1)

The date on or about which, and in what manner, the property came into the possession, custody or control of such department, official or employee.

(2)

The name or other description of the property and the estimated or approximate value thereof.

(3)

The name and address, or whichever of the same is known, of the owner or claimant of the property, or, if neither name nor addresses of any such owner or claimant be known or if the property is then unclaimed, it shall be so shown upon such report.

(4)

The amount of the cost of storage or care of the property and of all other expenses incurred in connection with the keep, preservation or impounding thereof, including any other fees, penalties or charges claimed by the city.
