§ 26-34. Duty to drive on right side of street.

The driver of a vehicle shall drive on the right side of the street, except when overtaking and passing a vehicle proceeding in the same direction under the rules established in this article, and except when the right half of the street is closed to traffic by the proper authorities, and except upon a roadway divided into three (3) marked lanes for traffic under the rules applicable thereon or upon a roadway designated and sign-posted for one-way traffic.
