§ 26-183. Toll schedule; effective date.
The schedule of tolls to be collected by the city for all southbound traffic crossing the International Bridge shall be as follows:

Persons:
Pedestrians, each (over 36 inches tall) ..... $0.50
Riders or bicycles, each ..... 0.50
(2)
Vehicles:
Automobiles or pickup (including three-quarter (¾) ton) ..... 3.50
Carts and motorcycles ..... 2.50
Trailer behind automobile or pickup (per axle) ..... 1.75
Express card—automobiles or pickup (including three-quarter (¾) ton) ..... 3.00

Trucks/buses—Empty or loaded:
Per axle ..... 5.00

Special fee—Weight in excess of 80,000 pounds:
Per axle pound ..... 0.85/1,000 pounds
Axle pound is the number of axles multiplied by five thousand (5,000) plus the total weight in pounds.

For the convenience of customers who wish to pay in Mexican currency, the city shall accept Mexican pesos to pay a toll based on the exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and Mexican peso, as published in the Wall Street Journal, plus a convenience charge of up to three (3) Mexican pesos per US dollar over the local exchange rate. The city manager, or his/her designee, shall be responsible for monitoring and adjusting the equivalent value of the exchange rate, as necessary, to accommodate fluctuations in the exchange rate on either a quarterly, monthly or daily basis.
