§ 26-207. Schedule VIII: Dedicated zones.

(a)

Loading zones. The following named locations are hereby designated as loading zones for commercial vehicles only and only while loading or unloading.

All new loading zones shall be approved by the city manager and/or his designee and shall require the payment of an annual mitigation fee for the elimination of on-street metered parking spaces used by the general public as set forth in section 26-141.

(1)

200 block of Commercial Street, on the east side of Commercial, thirty (30) feet from the south side of Main Street, for a length of thirty-six (36) feet. "No Parking" loading zone from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Saturday, and on the west side of Commercial, thirty (30) feet from the south side of Main Street for a length of twenty (20) feet. "Handicap Parking Only."

200 block of Rio Grande Street, at approximately sixty-three (63) feet east of Commercial Street on the south side of Rio Grande Street for a length of sixty-five (65) feet.

100 block of Washington Street at Garrison Street on the west side of Washington Street, thirty (30) feet from Garrison Street for a length of fifty-nine (59) feet from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, from Monday through Saturday.

(4)

300 block of Washington Street, ninety (90) [feet] from the north side of Main Street on the east side of Washington for a length of sixty-two (62) feet.

(5)

Jefferson Street, west side, at approximately one hundred twenty (120) feet south of Main Street for an approximate length of forty (40) feet, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Jefferson Street, west side, at approximately thirty (30) feet south of Main Street for an approximate length of forty (40) feet, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

(7)

300 block of Adams Street, on the west side, a length of ninety-three (93) feet from the north side of Main Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

South side of Rio Grande approximately thirty (30) feet east of the east side of Washington Street for an approximate length of eighty-three (83) feet.

(9)

West side of Adams Street approximately forty (40) feet north of Rio Grande Street for an approximate length of forty-five (45) feet.

(10)

Rio Grande Street, north side, at approximately fifty (50) feet west of Jefferson Street for an approximate length of forty-two (42) feet, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

(b)

Bus zones. For the use of only those vehicles franchised by the city as a city bus operation.

(1)

The northeast corner of the 200 block of Washington Street at its intersection with Rio Grande Street.

(c)

School bus zones. For the use only of buses operated by the Eagle Pass Independent School District between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on all days except Saturdays and Sundays.

500 block Washington Street one hundred fifty (150) feet south of Leona Street on the west side of Washington Street.

(2)

600 block Madison Street one hundred twenty-five (125) feet north of Leona Street on the west side of Madison Street.

(d)

Police parking only. Thirty (30) feet from intersection of west side of Commercial and north side of Garrison for a length of forty-six (46) feet.
