§ 27-19. Same—Reports required.

  • (a)

    The manager of the system shall file with the mayor not later than February 1st in each year, a detailed report of the operation of the system for the year ending January 1st, next preceding. The report shall show the total sums of money collected, the balance due, the total disbursements made and the amounts remaining unpaid during such calendar year.

    (b)

    The budget officer shall file the budget with the city secretary not less than thirty (30) days prior to the time the city council is by law required to make its tax levy for the current fiscal year. The report of the manager and the budget shall be available for inspection by any taxpayer and for the public hearing required by Texas law to be held annually on the budget of the city.
