 Article II. SEWERS
 Division 1. IN GENERAL

  § 27-46. Connections to sanitary sewer lines, costs and inspection fees.

  • (a)

    Plats. All residential sanitary sewer service line connections from a sanitary sewer main line to the property line will be installed by a contractor/plumber approved by EPWWS (based on the list of approved contractors/plumbers approved by the City of Eagle Pass). The cost of all material and labor required to effect the line connection shall be charged to, be the obligation of, and shall be paid by the property owner.

    Replats. All replat sanitary sewer service line connections from a sanitary sewer main line to the property line will be installed by a contractor/plumber approved by EPWWS (based on the list of approved contractors/plumbers approved by the City of Eagle Pass). The cost of all material and labor required to effect the line connection shall be charged to, be the obligation of, and shall be paid by the property owner.

    All commercial sanitary sewer service line connections from a sanitary sewer main line to the property line will be installed by a contractor/plumber approved by EPWWS (based on the list of approved contractors/plumbers approved by the City of Eagle Pass). The cost of all material and labor required to effect the line connection shall be charged to, be the obligation of, and shall be paid by the property owner.

    (b)

    Subdivisions. New subdivision sanitary sewer service line connections from a sanitary sewer main line to the property line will be installed by a contractor/plumber approved by EPWWS (based on the list of approved contractors/plumbers approved by the City of Eagle Pass). The cost of all material and labor and required to effect the line connection shall be charged to, be the obligation of, and shall be paid by the developer.

    (c)

    Inspection fees. In addition to the costs incurred above, the property owner or contractor shall pay the EPWWS the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each inspected lot.
