§ 27-105. Areas to which municipal water service furnished; amendments to certificate of public convenience and necessity.

(a)

The City of Eagle Pass shall furnish municipal water service to the following territorial areas:

(1)

To tracts of land inside the corporate limits of the city.

(2)

To tracts of land outside the limits of the city which are within the area covered by said waterworks system's certificate of public convenience and necessity.

(b)

The general manager of said waterworks system shall furnish to the city secretary copies of any amendments to said certificate of public convenience and necessity as soon as reasonably possible after same have been approved or issued by the Texas Public Utility Commission. All amendments to said certificate shall be made part of the ten-year master plan and must meet the required approvals as specified in said section 27-108.
