§ 27-211. General provisions.

(a)

Purpose. The purpose of this article is to aid in the prevention of sanitary sewer blockages and obstructions caused by the accumulation of fats, oils, and grease that are discharged into the sanitary sewer system.

(b)

Application. This article shall apply to all commercial food service/processing establishments that are located within the corporate city limits of the city, or that are within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city and to all the establishments that receive sanitary sewer service from the Eagle Pass Water Works System (EPWWS) or that discharge any liquids or solids into the sanitary sewer.
