§ 2-6. Bond requirement for city officers.

All of the city officers shall give a bond conditioned on the faithful and honest performance of their duties. The specific provisions of any individual bond will be established by the city council to meet the peculiar requirements of that office. The premium of all such bonds shall be paid by the city.

Such city officers and employees as designated from time to time by the city council shall be so bonded.
