§ 2-120. Certification pay for firefighters.

Fire fighters who obtain and maintain the following certifications shall receive certification pay in the amount indicated:
EMT-Intermediate certification—Range of $242.00 per month through $325.00 per month, based upon years of service as an EMT-Intermediate certified fire fighter, as indicated on attachment hereto.

EMT-Paramedic certification—Range of $270.00 per month through $362.00 per month, based upon years of service as an EMT-Paramedic certified fire fighter, as indicated on attachment hereto.

That the terms of this section and/or any payment of "assignment pay" do not apply to a member who is performing any of these duties on a "step-up" "acting" or any other temporary basis.
