§ 5-19. Termination: renewal.

  • Any license issued under the terms of this article shall terminate on the same date as the license issued to such applicant hereunder by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission authorizing such applicant to manufacture, sell and/or distribute beer in Maverick County, and no license shall be issued for a longer term than one (1) year. Any such license may be renewed upon written application of the licensee filed with the city secretary no later than thirty (30) days before the license expires, but not after it expires. Such application shall be in writing and filed by the applicant and shall contain the full and complete information as set out and required in the original application, upon which such original license was issued. The renewal shall be accompanied by a renewal fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00), which fee shall be in addition to the amount required to be paid for such license by section 5-15. No such renewal license shall be issued unless and until the applicant therefor shall exhibit to the city secretary his renewal license issued by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Upon compliance with the foregoing requirements by such applicant, it shall be the duty of the city secretary to issue the license as applied for in the same manner as the original license was issued.
