§ 8-3. Same—Application.
The building inspector, upon receiving such application, shall, if the same is not in conflict with the provisions of this article and after all permit fees have been paid as required in section 8-19, issue a permit to such applicant, which permit shall be in writing, giving number of the lot, name of the street on which such building is to be erected, altered or repaired, the kind of material to be used in the construction or repairs, and the dimensions and contemplated purpose. Any person who shall obtain such a building permit shall commence the erection, alteration or repairs of such structure within ninety (90) days of the date of the permit, or forfeit any and all rights he may have by virtue thereof.
