§ 8-14. Board of equalization—Appointment; qualifications.
Should the local appraisal district be dissolved or disbanded then, in that event, each year the city council shall appoint no fewer than three (3) nor more than five (5) persons who shall be qualified voters and real property owners in the City of Eagle Pass as the board of equalization. At the same meeting that the city council appoints such board, it shall fix the time of the first meeting of the board, which shall be not later than the first day of May. Members of the board while serving shall receive such compensation as may be provided for them by the city council. The City of Eagle Pass may delegate to another entity all powers and duties hereunder.
