§ 12-59. Registration of specialist electrician.

(a)

Applicant may be a registered master electrician or may apply for registration as a specialist electrician in the following class:

Elevator and escalator electrician (state licensed)

(b)

Each applicant not holding a master electrician license may be required to answer a reasonable number of questions in writing to the building department to show that he has sufficient knowledge and training to perform the work for the class of electrical specialist applied for. A specialist electrician's license shall entitle the holder to engage himself in the employ of any person holding a license to do the work for which the specialist has been qualified.
