§ 12-102. Exceptions.

No electrical permit shall be required for the following electrical work:
(1)

The replacement of lamps, fuses or the connection of portable electrical equipment to permanently installed receptacle.

(2)

The installation of electrical conductors or equipment for or by a public utility in the generation, transmission, sale and use of electrical energy or in the transmission of intelligence as outlined in its franchise.

(3)

Work involved in the manufacturing, repair or testing of electrical equipment or apparatus in the course of manufacture.
