§ 12-106. Signs, elevators and escalators.

An electrical permit shall be secured for the installation of circuits and/or feeders which are provided for the supplying of electrical energy to a sign. A permit shall be secured for all electrical changes, installations and revisions that are done on electrical elevators and escalators. A permit shall not be required when electrical equipment on electrical elevators and escalators is being maintained by elevator and escalator contractors by repairs or replacement of any kind.
