§ 13-1. False alarms, prohibited.
No person shall knowingly place a false fire alarm, in any manner whatsoever, or cause or attempt to cause the fire apparatus of the city to respond to any false alarm of fire within the city. Any such action shall constitute a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, punishment shall be levied in accordance with section 1-5 of this Code.
If the city is required to respond to any false fire alarm, at the same property, five (5) times or more within a thirty-day period, the owner of said property will be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00).
