§ 19-12. State law adopted.

It shall be unlawful to commit, within the city limits, any act which is recognized by the laws of the State of Texas as a misdemeanor.

Any person violating the provisions of this section shall upon conviction thereof, be punished by the same penalty as is thereof provided by the state law, but in no case shall such penalty exceed the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00).
