§ 22-60. Statement of policy.

It is the policy of the City of Eagle Pass to promote the adequate, efficient and safe use of public property within the city limits and in particular its sidewalks. To his end, this article provides for the installation and regulation of benches upon city sidewalks and other related amenities authorized by Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, Article 1085(c) for the convenience of the public in its use of the public streets and sidewalks for pedestrian or vehicle transportation.
