§ 24-8. Same—Report by chief of police after sale.

The chief of police shall, within five (5) days after such sale, make written, sworn report thereof to the city treasurer account for the moneys received at such sale in the manner as he is bound to account for, and turn over, all other moneys that may come into his hands by virtue of his office.
