§ 26-209. Schedule X: Fire zones.

  • The following locations are hereby declared fire zones and fire lanes and authorized as such. All zones will be thirty (30) feet except when noted.

    Adams Street. At the Multi-Purpose Center at Fort Duncan on the west side of Adams Street and south of Ward (fire plug).

    Adams Street. On the west side of Adams Street at the front entrance of Multi-Purpose Building at a point approximately one hundred seventy-five (175) feet north of Ward Street and running in a northerly direction for fifty (50) feet.

    Brazos Street. San Luis School on west side of Brazos Street and approximate forty (40) feet north of Wilson Street (fire plug).

    Commercial Street. Our Lady of Refuges School on the east side of Commercial Street approximate seventy-five (75) feet south of its intersection with Leona Street (fire plug).

    Kelso Drive. Graves School on the east side of Kelso Drive directly in front of main entrance to the Graves School, thirty (30) feet wide.

    Leona Street. Webster School on north side of Leona Street at intersection of Webster Street, thirty (30) feet wide (fire plug).

    Madison Street. Austin School on Madison Street on the southwest side of Madison Street at its intersection with Leona Street, thirty (30) feet wide.

    Main Street. Fifty (50) feet in front of the Aztec Theatre on Main Street south side of Main Street to intersection of Jefferson Street.

    Main Street. 400 Block of Main Street, south side at a point approximately one hundred seventy-five (175) feet west of Madison Street and running in a westerly direction for twenty-five (25) feet.

    Main Street. Seventy-five (75) feet in front of the Eagle Hotel on north side of Main Street to its intersection with Madison Street.

    Maverick County Memorial Hospital. At the Maverick County Memorial Hospital, fifty (50) feet at the main entrance on the north side of the building and fifty (50) feet at the emergency entrance to the building.

    Mesa Street. Benavides School on Mesa Street, south side at the southeast entrance to the school (fire plug).

    Monroe Street. R.E. Lee School on the west side of Monroe Street and approximate fifty (50) feet north of El Indio Highway, thirty (30) feet wide (fire plug).
