§ 2-130. Duties of director generally.

The director of the department of parks and recreation shall have charge of and supervision over the care, maintenance, upkeep and use of all city-owned parks and all city-owned facilities located therein and in addition shall be responsible for the maintenance and use of the community neighborhood satellite centers and multi-purpose center. The director shall keep all physical properties of the city under his control in a clean and sanitary condition; and shall report to the city manager when any of the satellite or multi-purpose centers, or the park facilities and buildings are in need of substantial repair. He shall see to it that all premises and physical facilities under his control are kept in a good and safe condition and that all restroom facilities are kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
