§ 10-15. Collection of special expense in certain cases.

The municipal court of the City of Eagle Pass is hereby authorized and directed to collect the special expenses authorized by article 45.06, Code of Criminal Procedures of the State of Texas, and as may be hereafter authorized by amendments thereto; including a special expense for services performed in cases in which the laws of the state require that the case be dismissed because of actions by or on behalf of the defendant brought pursuant to the provisions of subsection (a), section 143A, Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways, which are subsequent to the day of the alleged offense. Such special expense shall not exceed the actual expenses incurred for the services as may be determined by the city manager on an annual basis on or before September 30th of each fiscal year, or ten dollars ($10.00), whichever is less.
