§ 10-30. Clerk of the municipal court; reports.

The clerk of the municipal court shall be a bonded official or employee of the city as designated by ordinance or resolution of the city council. He shall be bonded in accordance with generally accepted municipal practice, the premium for which bond shall be paid by the city. The clerk of the court shall receipt for, receive, deposit and disburse all moneys coming into his hands to the credit of the city, in accordance with the provisions of this article. He shall maintain a faithful and correct account of all such transactions and report therefor to the city council.
