§ 23-13. Zoning of new subdivisions.

(a)

The planning and zoning commission shall not approve any plat of any subdivision within the city limits of the city until the area covered by the proposed plat shall have been permanently zoned by the city council. The planning and zoning commission shall not approve any plat of any subdivision within any area where a petition or ordinance of annexation or a recommendation for annexation to or incorporation within the city is pending before the city council except as provided in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Eagle Pass.
