§ 2-5. Appointment of interim city attorney.

(a)

Whenever there shall be a vacancy in the office of city attorney the city council may select some reputable practicing attorney who shall advise the city during such vacancy.

(b)

The city council shall pay such attorney for such services any sum which, in its discretion, seems proper.
