§ 5-33. Sale of alcoholic beverages prohibited within three hundred (300) feet of certain places of public assembly.

No person shall sell, give, dispense or deliver, or conduct the business of selling,
giving, dispensing or delivering, or be licensed to sell, give, dispense or deliver
at any place (including the area described in the preceding section) within the territorial
limits of the city any beer or malt beverage to be consumed upon the premises where
sold, given, dispensed, or delivered, at or upon any premises located within three
hundred (300) feet of any church, public school, public hospital or public library
in the city, the measurements to be along the property lines of the street fronts
and from front door to front door and in a direct line across the streets or intersections
of streets, where they occur; and any license issued from and after June 9, 1953 in
violation of this provision shall be void.
