§ 8-49. Fee for registration.

An annual registration fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be paid to the building department before the issuance of a city's certificate of registration, and a renewal fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) shall be paid each year thereafter upon submittal of proof of continued compliance of this article. The fiscal year for the payment of fees shall begin on January 1, and shall end on December 31, of the same year. In case of new registrations after July 1 of any year, the annual fee shall be one-half (½) of the amount, provided that renewal fees shall not be so pro-rated.
