§ 21-51. Water conservation plan and drought contingency plan.

  • The City of Eagle Pass 2018 Water Conservation Plan and 2018 Drought Contingency Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all purposes be, and the same are hereby adopted as the official policy of the city. The City Council of the City of Eagle Pass, Texas, finds that the goals and purposes of the water conservation plan and the drought contingency plan are worthwhile and beneficial for the citizens of the City of Eagle Pass, Texas. The adoption, in toto, of the water conservation plan and drought contingency plan, would promote the beneficial goals described above in sections 21-41 and 21-42. It is, therefore, decreed by the City Council of the City of Eagle Pass, Texas, that the water conservation plan and drought contingency plan, incorporated herein for all purposes, is expressly approved and adopted in its entirety including, but not limited to, that provision providing for the assessment of a fine, not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00) against any person who shall violate any of the provisions of the drought contingency plan.
